Lizzy Hawker’s victory, despite the apparences, was not that obvious. She actually suffered a lot from the hip, and even stayed a long time at La Fouly passage, to weigh the pros and cons on staying or leaving the race. But once she made up her mind she was determined to win her fourth victory. On that point The North Face® AThlete Sébastien Chegneau speaks of her as a “machine”. He explains “She is real phenomenon”.
