KEEPING THE TEMPO UP WITH A VARIETY OF SPORTS
“I wanted to keep my power up by doing different activities : skiing, surfing, and cycling
… and some brain sports, by studying”
After I secured my place for the FWT15, I enjoyed some Big Mountain skiing around Chamonix and took part in the Big Sky Montana for the last comp of the winter.
In May I headed to the South West of France to do some surfing with my friends. I followed that up with a week of cycling in the Cantal region for the “Etoiles du sport” Summer University. I finished off the month by running the Mont-Blanc cross with my Dad and Brother.
As for my brain work out, I started a 5 month internship in July for my Bachelor degree in Business and Marketing, which I balanced alongside my physical activities.
MY BEST RIDE OF LAST WINTER
My top moments are powder days with friends. Last winter I filmed with Aurelien Ducroz for the « Cham’Lines » web series.
We had a perfect first track in « Couloir ENSA ». It was sunny with deep fresh snow and the first track.
Probably the best line I rode last winter. I wish it could be like this every day
TRAINING FOR FWT15
“Hiking and skiing are my best ways to get ready for the next tour”
I started my physical training in September while I was finishing my business internship. I did some specific ski training and tried to go mountaineering as much as possible.
In November I spent 2 weeks in Tignes for my ski instructor degree. Then I flew straight to Siberia for a hike & ski trip with Anna Khankevich. We had some awesome conditions with fresh snow over the unique scenery Lake Baïkal.
Back in France, no snow, so did a backwards and forwards between Cervinia and Verbier with my mates to chase the pow as much as possible.
